Alongside our usual selection, we also offer a small number of our own home-bred birds—mainly budgies—which are raised with regular handling and are often semi-tame to fully hand-tame.

How to Purchase a Bird From Us

All bird purchases at Town Gardens & City Pets are carried out in person, in-store only. This ensures you can see the birds firsthand, ask any questions, and feel completely confident in your choice before taking a new companion home.

Whether you’re still deciding which species might suit you best or you already know exactly what you want, our experienced team is here to help. We’ll talk you through care needs, temperament, housing requirements, and anything else you’d like to know.

We also stock everything you need for your new bird at competitive prices, including feeds, toys, enrichment, and a wide range of cages. In addition to new cages, we usually have a large selection of excellent condition pre-owned cages—a great option for those looking for something more budget friendly without compromising on quality.
