King British Methylene Blue is an effective, broad-spectrum, veterinary strength medicine used by generations of fish keepers to treat sick and injured ornamental fish. King British Methylene Blue is effective against bacteria, fungi and parasites, and provides an excellent first aid treatment for fish. It increases the oxygen carrying capacity of distressed fish, helping them to combat the effects of ammonia, nitrite and other toxins in their surrounding water.
King British Methylene Blue is suitable for use in aquariums housing breeding fish, eggs and fry, helping to prevent fungus forming on the eggs and keeping fry free from infection. It can also be applied directly to wounds, used in treatment baths, and when transporting fish to help reduce stress.
Captive fish live in a completely closed environment and are entirely dependent on their surrounding water. If bacterial infections continuously reoccur, the cause is likely to be environmental. Always check and monitor the water quality in your aquarium.
When to use King British Methylene Blue:
• To protect fish eggs and fry against fungal infections
• If cotton wool-like growths appear on your fish
• Your fish shows signs of open wounds or ulcers
• Any part of your fish’s body is covered in excess mucus (Slime disease)
Suitable for coldwater and tropical aquariums.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE IN MARINE AQUARIUMS
