Beaphar Fortified Eggfood (Red) provides many of the nutritional requirements that seed-based diets lack, including amino acids, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Eggfood is essential for birds during breeding, growth and moulting as their nutritional requirements are much higher during these times. In addition, Beaphar Fortified Eggfood (Red) contains carotene from paprika to enhance your bird’s red pigmentation in their feathers.
Beaphar Fortified Eggfood (Red) is suitable for use all year round to help improve plumage and keep your bird in peak condition, or for use during breeding, growth and moulting.

It is recommended that Beaphar Fortified Eggfood (Red) makes up approximately one quarter of your bird’s daily intake of food.
Resting (all year round): Feed twice a week
Breeding season: Feed 2–3 to three times a day, except on the days the eggs hatch
Moulting: Feed once a day to maintain red pigmentation
Water can be added to the required amount of Beaphar Fortified Eggfood (Red) to give a softer consistency if required.
Always have fresh drinking water available.
